This portfolio reflects my love for high places and steep terrain, from snowy rock faces of the Himalaya to the jagged granite ridgelines of the Cascades. Over years of hiking, running, climbing, and photographing mountainous places, I’ve been trying to chase ephemeral moments of shifting light upon stone and water. This collection mixes macro close-ups such as alpine flowers with environmental and cultural landscapes, which try to paint portraits and stories of place. My mountain photography is as much about the thrill of exploration as it is about my reverence for the landscapes and people that have shaped me.
