Cliffcolor Studio partners with individuals, brands, and organizations to create custom photo and video content for editorial, commercial, and educational platforms. We are a full-service media company specializing in documentary film production and environmental & adventure photography. Our mission is to professionally and artistically capture and share stories in order to help audiences connect with each other, nature, adventure, and exploration. Cliffcolor offers individualized services to clients who have a need for rope access, expedition-length productions, and aerial cinematography.
WHO IS CLIFFCOLOR?
Cliffcolor Studio was founded by Matt Jenkins and Elyssa Shalla following a winter spent traversing the length of the Grand Canyon by foot. Through film, photography, narrative, and design, Cliffcolor Studio creates visual media that explores human relationships with global landscapes, public lands, and preservation. Inspired by adventure and challenge, Cliffcolor Studio focuses on human-powered travel such as climbing, trail running, thru-hiking and packrafting to shape these narratives. They have worked on media projects for the National Park Service, Hyperlite Mountain Gear, Himalayan Adventure Labs, and Wide Open Vistas.
